Dr Zulf Masters OBE
CEO & Founder
Zulf founded Masters in 1984, establishing the company’s first UK office with a vision to improve access to quality, affordable medicines in emerging markets. With over 40 years’ pharmaceutical industry experience, he has led the company’s international growth while maintaining its founding purpose. In 2004, he was awarded an OBE for services to International Trade.
Simon Clarke
COO & Board member
Simon is a Chartered Accountant with more than 25 years’ experience in senior international finance roles across the USA, Asia and Africa. He joined Masters as CFO in 2011, rejoined the Board in 2022, and now serves as Chief Operating Officer, supporting strategic growth and operational excellence across the group.
Zain Masters
EVP - Commercial & Board Member
As Executive Vice President Commercial, Zain leads the company’s global commercial strategy and oversees operations from the Florida office. Since joining Masters in 2015, he has held senior roles in business development and licensing, playing a key role in expanding international partnerships and driving sustainable commercial growth
Suzad Masters
In-House Counsel & Board Member
Suzad has been part of the Masters team from the very beginning, developing business in the Middle East and beyond.Over this time Suzad has built many strategic long-term relationships with suppliers and manufacturers, and has helped to establish Masters as a trusted and reliable source of quality pharmaceutical products.
Dr Enrique Blanco
Senior VP Medical Affairs & Compliance
Dr Blanco joined Masters in 2019 with extensive expertise in medicine, pharmaceuticals and clinical research. He was awarded a Wellcome Foundation scholarship in Clinical Pharmacology in the UK and is a Fellow of both the American College of Clinical Pharmacology and the American Academy of Pharmaceutical Physicians.
Daniel George
Head of Commercial - Brazil
Daniel joined Masters in 2024, bringing significant pharmaceutical experience across both public and private markets. Since beginning his career in 2007, he has developed strong expertise in oncology and haematology, supporting product strategy, market access and commercial initiatives within complex therapeutic and regulatory environments.
Sid Masters
Business Unit Director MEA
Sid joined Masters in 2015 and has worked across procurement, sales, business development and licensing. He later became Global Head of Business Development, leading strategic transactions and product launches across emerging markets. Now Business Unit Director for the Middle East, he oversees regional growth, partnerships and commercial strategy.
Marcela Basail
Business Unit Director – Caribbean
Marcela rejoined Masters in 2022, having first joined in 2002. With over 24 years’ pharmaceutical experience across the Caribbean and Latin America, she has held senior commercial and regional leadership roles. As Business Unit Director for the Caribbean, she leads strategy, partnerships and product launches across this dynamic market.
Fernando Lopez
Business Unit Director Central America
Fernando joined Masters in 2015, bringing over 30 years’ pharmaceutical leadership experience across Central America and the Dominican Republic. Previously Business Director at Merck Sharp & Dohme, he has worked extensively within public and private hospital sectors. As Business Unit Director, he leads regional commercial strategy and product launches.
Lucy Lee
Marketing & Communications Manager
Lucy joined the UK team in 2019 as Marketing and Communications Manager. With over 15 years’ pharmaceutical industry experience across prescription, OTC and consumer brands, she leads corporate marketing, communications and product management initiatives across the Masters group, supporting brand development and global commercial objectives.
Sanjay Yadav
Regulatory Affairs Manager
Sanjay joined Masters in 2018 as Regulatory Affairs Manager. With over 12 years’ regulatory experience, he leads global product registration projects and coordinates the regulatory team across multiple markets. He is highly experienced in managing complex registration procedures and compiling comprehensive product dossiers internationally.
