Cold Chain

Masters' Warehouse is home to a safe, secure, Cold Storage Facility, which holds all Cold Storage items that are kept in stock, under regulated conditons of 2°-8°C. This Cold Chain is managed by our Quality Assurance Manger, and complies with all MHRA Regulatory Requirements.
Compliance with such regulations, means that Masters constantly maintains its high standards, and continues to develop its reputation as a reliable source for Cold Chain products.

Masters' Cold Chain is constantly: analyzed, measured, controlled, documented, and validated:

  • Each shipment is despatched in Insulated Shipping Containers or Specialised Packaging (depending on the products)
  • We use Temperature Data Loggers and RFID tags to help monitor the Temperature History of the product(s) being shipped. They also help determine the remaining shelf life of each individual product, which is often crucial information for our customers
  • Documentation is critical. Each step of the Custody Chain needs to follow established protocols and maintain proper records. Custom delays can occur due to inaccurate or incomplete paperwork, so basic guidelines for creating a Commercial Invoice are always followed, to ensure the proper verbiage, number of copies, and other details are all correct, in order to prevent any delay in the delivery of an item.
